Finally done!
It seems that I'm having some trouble sleeping again, so I was up kind of late last night. I decided to put in a movie and work on mine and my husband's wedding scrapbook and I finished it! Finally! It only took me 8 months, but I got it done. :D

I'm not a very crafty person, but I love pictures. That's why I enjoy scrapbooking as much as I do. When I get ready to scrapbook, though, I like to have a wide open space in front of me so I can spread out all of my stuff. Stickers, pictures, pens, pencils, markers, etc. Here's what I'm talking about...

I'm sitting on the full size bed in the guestroom and I'm sitting in the corner and my scrapbooking stuff is taking up the rest of the bed. It's an organized mess, I swear. :P But, anyway, I really am glad that I finally got it finished. There are definitely going to be more wedding scrapbooks though, I still have tons of wedding pictures, and scrapbooks are just more fun to make and look at than photo albums. Overall, I think I've finished 4 scrapbooks. It takes me a while to get it the way that I want it and get the pictures printed to put in them and everything like that, but by the end, it's definitely worth it.

So, I posted the above picture because a friend of mine had posted on Facebook about how anyone over the age of 8 shouldn't wear their hair in pigtails. Okay, well first off, I love to wear my hair in pigtails, especially pigtails with braids, and I'm almost 20 years old. According to her, I should have stopped wearing my hair like this 12 years ago. Well, guess what I said to her? I told her that I love wearing my hair in pigtails and I look freakin' adorable with them, too!

Haha. The 8 year old inside me demands that I wear my hair in pigtails occasionally and who am I to tell her no? :P

I wear pigtails sometimes too so forget that person on Facebook! And you do look adorable. Cool about getting the book done!
@EmilyandAtticus - Haha. Thank you! :)
What a great hobby!
And show your gorgeous boobs to TheoDan he will love them and probably feature them in one of his posts.@PrisonerxOfxLove - Thank you! :) Dan does posts on boobs? Haha. That's a little odd. :P
When I was in grade school decades ago, a boy in front of me stuck a girls pig tale in his ink well (we had ink wells and pens to write in that day). She was very mad for him doing that. The teacher called him up front, made him lay across a table, got out the infamous 18 inch ruler and paddled his butt. They did that in my day.
Then she put a girls bonnet on him and made him sit on a stool in front of the class while we roared.
I liked your hair do--you have a very nice set of pig tales. I don't seem them much anymore.

@ItsAll_A_LoveWar - Dan says it's for breast cancer. But many of us wonder...
I love scrap booking. But never really done it. But I should. I have so many albums of photos, and usually keep these little memorabilia in it.
@ANVRSADDAY - People still get paddled, but not in front of other students. I think that would be awkward for everyone. :P The bonnet in front of the class is kind of hilarious though. Ha. Thank you. :)
@PrisonerxOfxLove - Haha. I'll have to remember that for next time, then. :)
@angys_coco - That's originally why I started scrapbooking. I keep random things that mean a lot to me and it's easier to put them in scrapbooks than in photo albums. :)
i would wear my hair in braided pigtails every day if i had enough hair and i didn't look stupid that way. i love braids. love. want to braid my girls every day, but they never let me.
(you look adorable)
@promisesunshine - Thank you. :) I love to have my hair french braided into pigtails, but I can't do that myself. :( It's hard to find people that know how to do that.
@ItsAll_A_LoveWar - i totally could do that!!
@promisesunshine - Then I would totally let you braid my hair! :D I wish I knew how to do it because I'm pretty sure my hair would be like that all the time.
the pigtails look great on you
@godfatherofgreenbay - Awe, thank you. :)
i think it just takes practice. however, it is easier when you can see. for sure.
@promisesunshine - Yeah, some day I'm going to learn, though.
I think you look adorable in pigtails. I think the women in their 30's and 40's that wear them look ridiculous but you are young and they suit you so who cares what other people say.
Thanks for the add! :)
@Living_just_2_breathe - Thank you. :) I think you're right about that though.
@newyorkglamorous - No problem. :)
I wore my hair in pig tails even when I was an MD working as director of surgical pathology. I couldn't care what anyone thought or said. It just was cool in summer to wear my hair like that.
My daughter used to do scrapbooking long time ago. She has stopped now. Too busy with her children.
Thanks for your comment on my blog about the dinner.
@ZSA_MD - It is a lot cooler to wear your hair like that during the summer that's why I like it so much.
that's great that you got your album done, the cover looks nice... and so does your hair in pigtails ... and, yeah, not only little girls wear pigtail braids, your friend has her facts all messed up! ;)
My sister's school have a pigtails/braided hair policy. Every girl with hair longer than shoulder length must have their hair braided on both sides. Just like yours in the picture. My sister is 14 and she looks adorable. I don't agree with the 8-year-old rule either. :D
thanks darling! + thats awesome that you finished it! + don't worry i still put my hair like that soemtimes too! <3 kaybree
thank you sweetie! <3 & loved the pics, i LOVE to scrapbook! <3 :)
